The challenge Rapidity
The surge in demand and the resulting sharp increase of the production output called for additional temperature control systems. The company needed temperature control units with highly efficient centrifugal pumps. And the clock was ticking – the systems had to be ready ASAP! All hope now rested on technotrans.
Instead of 8 weeks, technotrans needed only 3 weeks to supply Ritter GmbH with the required temperature control units. This is also largely thanks to the highly committed workforce of the Meinerzhagen factory who reacted to the current situation with understanding, a high level of flexibility and even worked extra hours.
Smooth processes
„Of course, we also fulfil our social responsibility during the current COVID-19 pandemic – and will continue to do so“, explains Nicolai Küls. „Rapid testing of large parts of the population are only possible if the supply chains are not disrupted. This means that our temperature control units are a small, yet important cog in the wheel.“
Samuel Krebber, technical plant manager of Ritter GmbH, remembers: „In this exceptional situation, the extremely fast supply of the temperature control units was of utmost importance to us. We are glad to have technotrans as a reliable partner at our side.“
Efficient system
In addition, the particularly energy-efficient large-scale units of the protemp series are technotrans' contribution to reducing CO2 emissions. But that is not all: Thanks to a software update, technotrans was able to reduce the already low energy demand by additionally 90%! Nicolai Küls, managing director of gwk, explains: „Because of this additional increase in energy efficiency, the production processes of Ritter GmbH become even more sustainable without affecting the high level of quality. A good example of how we are purposefully putting the technotrans sustainability strategy into practice.“
