The loop.40 system cleans the dampening solution effectively without any consumables and without any effect on the actual printing process. As a result, the solution is perfectly suitable for commercial web offset printing applications where the paper used for the printing process is often provided by the customers.

The system uses centrifugal force, thereby causing the contaminants to collect on the walls of an exchangeable vessel for manual draining. The loop.40 in the bypass to the dampening solution circulator unit feeds the cleaned dampening solution back into the circuit. Depending on the printing job being completed and paper used, up to 1.5 kg of solid contaminants are separated inside the centrifuge within 24 hours.

In addition to the fact that the need for cleaning the printing press is drastically reduced, the loop.40 system also reduces the risk of deposits inside the heat exchangers, thereby considerably stabilising the reliability of the entire process.
