The beta.f system can be used to effectively avoid the contamination of the dampening solution: The filtration unit for medium- to large-format sheet-fed offset printing applications optimises the dampening solution quality while lowering the operating costs. The two-stage filtration principle is based on the use of a prefilter module to ease the load on the main filter module as well as an intensive dampening solution cleaning system including a high-performance deep-bed filter. The quality of the filter modules is continuously monitored by integrated pressure sensors. As a result, the beta.f system ensures longer dampening solution change intervals, thereby reducing the purchasing and disposal costs.
Due to the minimum need for cleaning, users can reduce their operating costs while ensuring maximum press availability. In addition, the bypass principle of the beta.f system ensures an easy, uncomplicated installation of the system.
