Modern sheet-fed offset printing applications require flawless filtration of the dampening solution. The alpha.f dampening solution filtration system filters the dampening solution continuously and efficiently. The system is optimally adapted to the requirements of small- to medium-format sheet-fed offset printing presses.
Numerous useful features of the filtration system minimise the need for cleaning the printing press, thereby leading to a noticeable operating cost reduction. These features include the two-stage filtration principle with a prefilter and deep-bed filter system, long dampening solution change intervals and integrated pressure sensors. These sensors continuously monitor the state of the filter modules. The bypass principle of the alpha.f system ensures an easy, uncomplicated installation. The dampening solution circuit to the printing press remains unaffected. This ensures absolutely stable production conditions. The result: a perfectly clean circuit – from the dampening solution tank up to the trays of the printing units.
