technotrans and KLH Kältetechnik sign cooperation agreement

The technotrans Group and KLH Kältetechnik GmbH have concluded a cooperation agreement. KLH Kältetechnik, a company belonging to the Selck Group and based in Bad Doberan (Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania), specialises in universal cooling systems from 5 kW to 300 kW as well as energy-conscious industrial cooling equipment and installation up to 1 MW. KLH’s customers include leading manufacturers of laser applications. The partnership between the two companies involves the sales, service, manufacturing and purchasing areas.

“As an international group, technotrans has sales and service locations worldwide – an advantage that many of our customers will appreciate,” commented Daniel Selck, Managing Partner of KLH. “We are convinced that teaming up will benefit our customers and both companies in many ways.”

“It is our declared aim to step up technotrans’ activities in markets outside the printing industry quite significantly over the next few years. We view the growth market of lasers as being especially important,” remarked Henry Brickenkamp, Board of Management Spokesman of technotrans AG. “That is one of the main reasons that prompted us to acquire Termotek AG at the start of last year.”

“The partnership with the technotrans Group and Termotek AG, which is the technology leader for laser cooling systems in the low performance range, offers KLH scope for further international growth in the medium to high performance range,” added Daniel Selck. “Our involvement with both these companies ideally complements technotrans’ expertise in the area of temperature control,” remarked Brickenkamp.
