• Precisely coordinated temperature control and water distribution
• Precision cooling with the teco cw for glycol-free operation using natural refrigerant propane (R290)
• Central cooling systems as a holistic thermal management solution
At KUTENO 2026, technology partners technotrans and enesty will present energy-efficient solutions for future-proof thermal management. Visitors to the joint exhibition stand will experience live how precisely coordinated temperature control technology and water distribution ensure component quality, shorten cycle times and reduce energy consumption. technotrans will also showcase the efficient teco cw 25 high 60 cooling and temperature control unit and present central cooling systems in a 3D model.
“Thermal management is increasingly becoming a decisive competitive factor in plastics processing. Together with enesty, we are demonstrating at KUTENO how integrated system solutions comprising temperature control and water flow distribution can simultaneously enhance efficiency, sustainability and process reliability,” says Nicolai Küls, Managing Director of technotrans solutions GmbH. “Our ambition is to support customers holistically – from stand-alone applications with compact temperature control units through to central infrastructure based on high-performance containerised cooling systems, including heat recovery.”
Live application demonstrates synergies in the injection moulding process
At the exhibition stand, technotrans will present the compact temperature control unit teco ci 160 eco 70. The system achieves flow temperatures of up to 160 degrees Celsius and operates directly in combination with enesty’s Orcinus distribution system. Via an OPC UA interface, the temperature control unit manages the entire system without the need for an additional screen. This intelligent interaction ensures that heat exchange in the mould is optimally regulated according to actual demand. For plastics processors, this delivers a direct competitive advantage: shorter cycle times, improved surface quality of plastic components and reduced operating costs.
Another highlight of the trade fair appearance is the compact teco cw 25 high 60 cooling and temperature control unit. The system provides an economical cooling solution for operation with glycol-free water at temperatures ranging from 0 to 25 degrees Celsius. Unlike conventional units, the chiller generates cold water temperatures down to 0 degrees Celsius without the need for antifreeze additives. The unit cools the circulating water directly near the consumer and is ideally suited in injection moulding for difficult-to-control segments as well as for cooling individual zones and smaller moulds.
Natural refrigerants and central thermal management concepts
In terms of climate protection and future viability, the teco cw also delivers clear technological advantages: the system is available with the natural refrigerant propane (R290). This enables users to meet future regulatory requirements today and invest in long-term production security. In addition, the unit operates with high energy efficiency and significantly reduces the carbon footprint of operations.
technotrans will illustrate its holistic solution portfolio at the trade fair using a 3D model of a central container cooling system. Such customised overall concepts, including options for free cooling and heat recovery, support users in optimising their entire energy balance. As systems using natural refrigerants are subsidised by the German Federal Office for Economic Affairs and Export Control (BAFA) with up to 45 per cent, companies benefit from a highly economical investment.
Fabian Heuel, Division Manager Sales and member of the management board of technotrans solutions GmbH, highlights the company’s engineering expertise: “Whether it is a compact temperature control unit directly at the injection moulding machine or a central container cooling system for the entire plant, we deliver tailored solutions for our customers’ individual challenges. We support them as a strategic partner on their path towards sustainable and competitive production.”
technotrans will be exhibiting at KUTENO in Bad Salzuflen from 9 to 11 June 2026 at stand 20-G21.
