High demand for lubrication solutions for punching and forming applications / Number of leads from the trade fair way above expectations / Positive feedback for product innovations

The expectations of technotrans AG about the EuroBLECH trade fair in Hanover have been clearly exceeded. Not only did the solutions for punching and forming applications attract a greater number of visitors, the number of leads generated during the trade fair was also higher than two years ago. The company from Sassenberg considers this a clear confirmation of its strategy. The highlight of the trade fair was the spray.xact spray lubrication system with a particularly low level of mist.

"The trade fair was an enormous success. Our solutions are soundly established in the metalworking industry. As a result, any innovations that we develop are highly appreciated by our customers," explains Alois Scharf, head of the Business Unit Ink & Fluid Technology of technotrans. For this year's EuroBLECH, he and his team complemented the spray.xact spray lubrication system with a spray pattern optimiser which is particularly suitable for high-demand applications and, like all spray.xact models, does not require any compressed air or an exhaust system. Typical areas of application include the sophisticated forming of bodywork shells or the spraying of very narrow patterns.

Crowded trade fair stand thanks to numerous recommendations and products
According to Alois Scharf, the distinctive feature of this year's EuroBLECH was the high number of interested persons visiting the technotrans trade fair stand as a result of specific recommendations: "It seems that our existing clients and also the machine manufacturers have specifically recommended our solutions. This is absolutely wonderful." In Hanover, technotrans presented a spraying chamber with 32 valves which is suitable for the spray lubrication of blanks or coils with a width of 1,600 mm. Another spraying chamber for the lubrication of coils up to 250 mm was also presented on site. In addition, visitors could also examine the extended remote access to the control system of the spray lubrication system from anywhere in the world. For service purposes or in the event of operating errors, this feature provides the technotrans service hotline with quick online access to the system. This minimises downtimes and reflects the fact that technotrans systems are increasingly being installed abroad.

Solutions for all areas of application
"This high level of acceptance also has a strong impact on the number of incoming orders. Our wide product range plays an important role in this context," explains Alois Scharf. As a result of this extensive product portfolio, technotrans can offer different variants of its spray lubrication systems. spray.xact reflection, for example, with its reflection surface ensures an indirect, particularly fine wisp of oil. This system was developed specifically with automatic punch presses in mind. Indirect lubrication is particularly suitable for the high-volume production of small pieces, e.g. plug contacts. spray.xact easy with its nozzle with flexible positioning is particularly suitable for rather simple applications. For bigger applications with up to 40 nozzles or more, spray.xact b is used without an enclosure and spray.xact c with a nearly closed spraying chamber.
