technotrans AG and the university Hamm-Lippstadt cooperate for practical training

Students of the university Hamm-Lippstadt can gain practical experience in the areas of cooling, temperature control, filtration, measuring and dosing technology from globally active technotrans AG. The company, with 22 locations worldwide, and HSHL have signed a cooperation agreement. Seven degree courses at the campus in Hamm will benefit from the new cooperation. In addition to support with practical, project, bachelor and master thesis, the cooperation also comprises of guest lectures and shall be extended to doctorates at a later date.

The courses "Energy Engineering and Resource Optimization", "Intercultural Business Psychology", "Sports and Health Technology", "Technical Management and Marketing" and "Environmental Monitoring and Forensic Chemistry" have topics that are of common interest. There is further cooperation in the bachelor degree programs "Intelligent Systems Design" and "Biomedical Technology". "We offer numerous interdisciplinary interfaces where students can apply their knowledge in practice," says Dr.-Ing. Christof Soest, Member of the Board of technotrans. He also confirms the benefits of inter-university cooperation for the economy: "We need committed young people with new ideas and benefit from a transfer of knowledge in both directions," says Soest. University President Prof. Klaus Zeppenfeld explains another motivation for such a cooperation: "Another strong partner further enables us to offer practical education in the region. In addition, students may also discover that exciting career opportunities are not only found in the cities."
