They include the use of resources and the degree of efficiency as well as the user-friendliness, life cycle and ease of maintenance. technotrans AG presents its improved dampening solution circulation and ink unit temperature control systems at stand A04 in Hall 2 of the drupa 2016 trade fair.

The well-established combination units alpha.c for small to medium-format sheet-fed offset printing presses and beta.c for medium to large-format sheet-fed offset printing presses perform their tasks with a high level of reliability and efficiency. Both systems combine dampening solution circulation and ink unit temperature control in a single compact unit. At the drupa, technotrans AG will present its particularly sustainable model alpha.c eco and, for the very first time, also the beta.c blue model to the experts visiting the trade fair. "Both solutions are based on cooling concepts that have been optimised in terms of their energy efficiency. The refrigeration capacity is continuously adapted to the actual demand," explains Eike Moes, Director of Dampening Solution Technology of technotrans AG.

The alpha.c eco model, which is equipped with a digital scroll compressor and speed-controlled drives, adapts perfectly to the output of the printing press. A revised control display unit ensures the easy operation of the system and a high level of comfort. For customisation in view of specific customer requirements, the alpha.c series offers a range of variable features in all functional areas.

In addition, technotrans will present its highly advanced conceptual design beta.c blue at the drupa 2016. The dampening solution circulation and ink unit temperature control system for medium to large-format sheet-fed offset printing applications impresses with a 30% higher level of efficiency, which results from numerous individual measures. These include the new, patented refrigeration module for the direct cooling of the dampening solution circuit and temperature control circuit. Resource-efficient solutions, e.g. the optimised alcosmart AZR with new features such as washing agent identification and lid damping, are the perfect addition to the two new combination units.

With its solutions for different cooling and fluid technology areas, technotrans presents itself as a comprehensive "Partner in Print" at the drupa 2016 trade fair. Visitors can find technotrans AG in Hall 2 at Stand A04.
