At the drupa 2016 trade fair in Düsseldorf, the cooling and fluid technology specialist will present its new control concept, an extended remote diagnostics solution and a data network solution for ink batch management.

Industry 4.0 stands for the combination of well-established and proven processes with modern information technology. Thomas Feuersträter, head of the automation and control unit of technotrans AG, explains: "Networking and data collection should not be an end in themselves. Our solutions offer tangible advantages in terms of process reliability and ‑monitoring." In order to ensure safe operation and the user-friendly management of the growing amount of data, technotrans has developed a new control concept with integrated web technology. This solution enables visualisation regardless of the operating system via different types of browsers.

At drupa, technotrans provides visitors with an insight into the extended remote diagnostics and ‑remote access options at their stand A04 in hall 2. These guarantee a faster response in the event of problems. For example, fault messages can be sent to all the relevant persons directly by SMS or e-mail. These specialists can then react within just a few minutes, thereby reducing the downtimes and costs. Due to expanded data networking, technotrans also offers an easy ink batch management solution. It is particularly interesting for printing companies producing packaging for the food industry where the traceability of the ink batches must be ensured.

Monitoring for trouble-free production
technotrans also provides an outlook on future technologies: In combination with the extended monitoring of the condition of the entire system and also of the wear parts, the printers can react very early to any deviating values, thereby guaranteeing the trouble-free operation of the systems.
