Increasing demand for low-mist spray lubrication systems – successful exhibition of technotrans

Quantity and quality of leads increased again / Specific requests for airless spray lubrication systems / Great interest of end users and original equipment manufacturers (OEM)

High number of visitors, several new customers and well-received exhibits – technotrans SE draws positive results from the company’s attendance at EuroBLECH. The company is also experiencing a high demand for airless spray lubrication systems from end users as well as OEMs. The spray.xact 5000 spray lubrication system showcased at the exhibition was very well received by the visitors. The system for large presses with spraying widths of up to 4,600 mm does not require any extraction system.

“We are extremely pleased about the quantity and the quality of leads generated at this exhibition. The feedback received clearly indicates that we are meeting the requirements of the market with our established airless technology as demand continues to increase for this type of oil application,” says Alois Scharf, head of the Ink & Fluid Technology business unit at technotrans. The majority of new customers made it a point to approach technotrans with concrete inquiries for projects regarding the airless spray lubrication system. As the only company, technotrans has been offering this technology for a wide range of applications in the metal-working sector for several years.

The spray.xact 5000 piqued the interest of both end users and OEMs. At the heart of the system are electronically controlled valves that have been developed in-house and that emit spray pulses at a very high frequency. This results in a particularly homogeneous spray pattern on the sheet metal surface. The temperature of the oil is controlled directly at the nozzle so that the oil application is reproducible regardless of any pressure fluctuations or other influencing factors within the system. The modular design and service-friendly supply system also ensure quick and easy access for the replacement of parts.

Further advancements in the field of lubrication systems
In addition to the spray.xact 5000, technotrans also presented the spray.xact c, a system for lubrication tasks at forming presses that has a divided spray housing, which significantly simplifies the coil infeed process. Further exhibits included a minimum lubrication system for mould lubrication as well as a number of lubrication systems for a wide range of different applications.

“All in all, this has been the most successful EuroBLECH to date for technotrans. The spray results our systems provide without the use of compressed air are well received by the market and we aim to further expand this technological advantage,” says Alois Scharf. Solutions provided by technotrans have proven to be successful in practice in the past, as demonstrated by numerous reference projects in Germany and abroad.
