Introduction of several new products while focussing on "Reducing costs - raising returns"

technotrans AG, leading system supplier for offset printing with its headquarters in Sassenberg in Northwest Germany, introduces several new products at the IfraExpo 2005 in Leipzig. technotrans will be focussing on the current goal of "Reducing costs - raising returns" by employing a high degree of process optimisation and stabilisation from the technotrans product range.

The concepts and systems for automatic ink supply developed by technotrans are a well-tried approach towards this goal and will again include new interesting aspects this year. The liquid filtration and recycling systems by technotrans also allow substantial cost reductions. For example, the dampening solution fine filtration unit beta.f can drastically reduce both the disposal costs for contaminated dampening solution and the maintenance expenses for the dampening solution circuit. At the same time, the stability of the entire system is clearly improved.

The prepress stage also offers a huge potential for reducing the operating costs. The considerable effort required for cleaning and maintaining the developers, as well as the developer liquid costs, can be substantially cut by using the technotrans spinclean.ctp cleaning system.

The positive influence of increased user friendliness is known throughout the industry and must not be underestimated since it contributes to smooth production operation. The new multicom control concept makes operation and handling of technotrans systems even easier. In addition, the multicom system provides internet-based remote diagnosis in case of need; this procedure saves a lot of time and uses a 15 inch TP15 colour touch screen display that technotrans will introduce at the IfraExpo 2005.

Modern electronics do not stop at supposedly "simple" products from the Sassenberg-based company, such as the well-tried dampening solution circulators for spray dampening units from the gamma.sd product line. These units now enable increased user-friendliness at reasonable cost as well.

Most recently, new developments and detail improvements in technotrans' microspray spray dampening systems represent another highlight of this year's IfraExpo. As the company is pleased to announce, there will be interesting new developments on display, particularly for single-width presses.
