technotrans america (Mt. Prospect, IL) will introduce the NEW alpha.d dampening solution circulator, the improved beta.f fine filtration as well as the NEW alpha.f dampening solution filtration system for small format printing presses at Graph Expo booth # 3875.
Focusing on usability and reliability of operation, the alpha.d dampening solution circulator is designed to meet the needs of small to mid size printing presses. The new cabinet design offers special ergonomics, the control panel within reach above the tank thus protecting the electronic system from unintentional contact with dampening solution or cleaning agents. It is a turn-key system that includes all the equipment and electronics necessary for dampening solution circulation in a remarkably small footprint.
Its wide variety of configuration options, such as different alcohol control units, automatic additive dosing, and pH-value and conductivity measurement allows to customize the alpha.d unit to meet individual needs of the different printing presses.
As a sensible addition to the alpha.line product range, alpha.f now for the first time makes the successful filtration principle of the beta.f available for small to medium format sheetfed offset printing presses. alpha.f now offers the small size solution for printers so they can benefit from its high efficiency for all sheetfed applications – from small to large formats.
Surely all improved features of the field proven beta.f fine filtration unit have been implemented in the new alpha.f. So for example, to further improve the filtration quality and filter life cycles, both the pre- and main filtration have been reengineered. Furthermore versatile and practical design details make cleaning and maintenance of the units extremely easy.
Based on a two-step filtration method both alpha.f and beta.f ensure perfectly clean and decontaminated dampening solution, from the tank to the trays of the printing units. This reduces the cleaning time for of the press and consequently lowers operating costs, while press availability is maximized.
An incredibly simple bypass principal allows both beta.f and alpha.f to be easily retrofitted to existing dampening solution circulation systems.
